I love the close connection the House of Dreams enjoys with our church. The people of Christ Nation help out in unique and precious ways. One of the most wonderful parts is the covering the children receive through the prayers of the congregation.
One tradition in our church is the presentation of babies and children to the Lord. We do this during a regular service. The parents bring the children to the front of the church. DaRonn gives them a pastoral blessing as the congregation agrees. The public presentation gives the congregation an opportunity to add their support to the raising of the child in the paths of righteousness. These times of dedication are some of my favorite.
As the children come to the House of Dreams we include them in this time of dedication at church. Our newest Dreamer received the blessing of dedication in a service a couple of weeks ago. How precious to welcome him into the family and present him before the Lord just as Jesus was presented in the temple when he was little.
Thank you for all the prayers that you offer on behalf of the Dreamers and their caregivers. It makes all the difference in the world.
